-
Each day we expect more than 100 actual participants.
-
We expect a constant flow of spectators throughout the weekend who
will come to see the event, or will view the event during their ski visit to Powder Mountain Resort.
-
Press releases will be going out to all major media, including newspapers, magazines, television stations, video production companies, websites, ski/snowboard shops and local Chambers of Commerce.
-
From similar events, we know that the media love the sport. Local kiteboarders and snowkiters have appeared on the Weather Channel and Resort Sports Network on cable television. The sport has also been covered locally by many of the newspapers and television networks.
-
Organizers will work with media following the event to provide information.
-
Photography – Local photographer, Bruce Grandin will be capturing the moment in still photos for everyone to enjoy.
-
Videography – Local videographer, Cordell Wolking is a professional videographer who will shoot the event and can offer footage for those interested. Two of the best known snowkite film producers have used shots from Powder Mountain Resort in their films over the last couple of years. We expect that additional footage will be shot before, during and after the event for next year’s films.
-
Banners will be placed prominently at the entrance of the event site and at the evening festivities. Ideal banner size is 2.5’ x 6’.
-
Marketing materials will contain sponsor logos, i.e, press releases, flyers, posters and web postings.
-
Verbal “Thank You’” – We thank our sponsors over our sound system during the day events and at the evening festivities. We also announce the companies that provide prizes for the event participants.
